- Born in San Sebastian, Gipuzkoa, Southern Basque Country (08.01.1948)

- Bachelor of English at the University of Talance (Bordeaux) and of History of Spain and America at the University of Deusto (Bilbao).

- Specialized in History of the Basque Country and more specifically in minorities and exclusion mechanisms of them.

- Author and co-author of many works, such as:

- She publishes a weekly column called nire txanda in EGIN.
